-
Whether you’re bouldering or climbing on our roped walls, climbing involves risk. We work hard to minimize those risks while maintaining the essence of the sport.

Yes all visitors need a properly filled out Visitor Agreement. Climbers and non-climbers alike! Visitors under the age of 18 must have their Agreement signed by their legal guardian. To save time in the gym, please fill out your Visitor Agreement ahead of time by clicking here!
-
There are no age restrictions for climbers in the gym. Most of our youth programs start at age 5, but we do have lots of climbers younger than that.
-
There is a weight limit for using our auto-belay systems. You must be a minimum of 25 pounds and below 330 pounds.
-
Belaying is the system used to protect a climber’s fall while climbing. Once climbers are ready to move past auto-belays (a mechanical belay system), they take our Belay Class to learn how to top rope belay and climb with a partner.
-
Nope, our auto-belays and bouldering walls are perfect for you to climb by yourself. Though don’t be surprised if you make friends climbing the same routes as you!
-
We recommend taking our Belay Class. This hour and a half class teaches you the basics of how to belay while indoor rock climbing. It covers knot tying, belaying, double check systems, commands and technique. Reservations are required to take the class and it is FREE to Members.
-
No. Climbers must be 14 years or older and have passed our Belay Proficiency Test in order to earn a belay tag. Climbers without a belay tag cannot belay in the gym. Climbers in our youth programs that have demonstrated competency but are under the age of 13 years old may be issued belay tags on a case-by-case basis.

A lot of us love the thrill of adventure – of pushing your comfort zone and exploring the unknown. Some of us like the movement and fitness side of climbing, or the “a ha!” moment of unlocking that little piece of beta with your climbing partner. Regardless of your reason, all of us are a part of a community that helps us connect, grow and inspire. Whether you are fresh off the street looking for something new to try, a youth climber looking to compete or a rock jock training for your next climbing trip, we’re here for you. Climbing is challenging, climbing can be intimidating – but climbing is also FUN. Thanks for joining us on your next adventure!
